Banks Construction Company leads the way in quality control.

By owning and operating our own asphalt plant, we are able to maintain strict control of our product. However, being able to control our quality is not enough, as the verification of such is what differentiates us from our peers.

Banks Construction boasts a 2,500 square foot SCDOT certified Quality Control Lab, located next to our asphalt plant. Technicians at this state of the art Lab are certified in HMA plant testing, Asphalt Roadway, Marshall Mix Design, Gyratory Mix Design, Earthwork and Base, and Nuclear Gauge Safety Training. We communicate the importance of quality control to every employee - from top management to each crew member. This expertly trained staff inspects and monitors the quality of mixes produced to ensure each customer receives a quality product. First in the state to update mix designs to meet new SCDOT specifications, the QC/QA Lab is an integral part of keeping Banks Construction Company’s reputation the highest in quality.
