Since opening our doors in 1948, Banks Construction Company has served as both a general contractor and subcontractor on numerous projects within the Lowcountry. We have experience in build to suit, design-build projects, and value-engineering projects. Our jobs range in size and tenure, some $500,000 and only a few weeks to 50 Million and 3 years. We are able to provide grading, paving, storm drainage, hauling, and surveying to our customers, directly with Banks Construction Company employees.

A few of the larger, more high profile projects we have completed are Ashley Phosphate (which was the first SCDOT job completed using the partnering concept), Vought Aircraft (an accelerated design-build project), and US17 Widening (finished 177 days ahead of schedule). The ability to complete many types of projects all with individual dynamics proves Banks Construction Company is a company that will continue to pave the way for many years to come.
