Recently, the Banks Safety Department and Project Manager Wes Bull on the US17/Main Road project formally recognized Garry Whetsell and Lucas Getman for their vigilance and prompt action on the job site.
Garry and Lucas identified a gas line that had been tampered with and was emitting the smell of gas. Recognizing the potential danger, they immediately notified their supervisor and assisted in the process of contacting the appropriate gas company to ensure the line was safely shut off.
