David Schmidtner – Lead Trainer

David is someone who cares deeply about the people around him, and we’re excited to highlight him for the person he is and the people he impacts day after day.

David started at Banks within the Grading Division and later moved into a role training other team members in the field.

He’s constantly learning, applying that knowledge, and sharing it with others across our company. When he’s not teaching others how to operate equipment or tools to better their ability to get the job done, David is helping people do things like learn to file their taxes, budget, and more!

We are so very lucky to have him on the team and are grateful for the help he gives others in his role. Way to go, David; keep up the great work!

“David is one of those people who has a wide range of knowledge. This allows him to help so many of our operators to become better at what they do. Congrats, David, and thank you for all you have done.” B.D. LaPrad – Training Manager

“David has proven to be a valuable asset to Banks Construction, whether it’s operating equipment or now in his new role as an equipment trainer. He does a good job of helping the young generation feel welcomed and supported. He’s very dependable, and everyone looks to him for advice and his opinion on things, given his knowledge. David has been awesome to work with. If I were building a crew from scratch, he would be on the list.” Jonathan LeGrand – Grading Superintendent

Thank you, David, for all that you do for our people at Banks Construction Company.
