Last week we put a plan in place to demo the old culvert and install a new concrete precast box culvert in 1 day.
The team crushed it ahead of schedule, and the portion of Highway 78 between the two intersections of Water Wheel Rd. was back open to traffic by Thursday night! Awesome work to the Crews who were working hard out there!
The Highway 78 Project is quickly approaching completion, and Banks is excited to provide everyone traveling throughout the Lowcountry with a safer and wider Highway 78.
