Recently, team member Kenneth Valentine AKA “Sarge” was highlighted by Shawnee Arnold and his Crew for exemplifying all 4 Core Values: Safety, Integrity, Team, and Excellence.

“I want to nominate Sarge for all the core values in SITE. He demonstrates EXCELLENCE in every aspect with everything he does. He goes above and beyond what is asked. If someone mentions something needing to be done he doesn’t have to be asked, he will do whatever task it is without anyone knowing. He is the first one to work and usually the last to leave. He never misses a day and he is someone that our team would be lost without. He is someone’s who shows INTEGRITY every single day. He will call you out in a heartbeat and doesn’t take shortcuts with anything. He is observant which makes SAFETY something that comes naturally to him. Without Sarge Valentine we wouldn’t be a TEAM! He brings the jokes to make a rough day less rough, the wisdom to show us kids we don’t know it all, and the “fear of Sarge” to us all! The first day I met sarge, I learned the proper way to shovel, I have learned that he is a man of few words until you get to know him. He has wisdom and knowledge and most certainly will speak up when you are making something a little more difficult then it has to be. “Sarge is a very good worker. He comes to work every day, and you have to make him leave. He’s a very good person. There is a lot of things my Crew does that we couldn’t do without him.
