VICTOR SHANNON – PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT

“Victor started working for Banks around 1997, about 5 years before me. He started as a heavy equipment operator but had been promoted to paving superintendent for our new Commercial Division when I got here. Victor not only lead our first private paving crew, he basically started our Commercial paving division. Paving for private customers is very different than heavy highway paving. Private customers expect consistency with regards to quality rather than high production. They expect us to show up when they need us regardless of when they call. Victor shaped our identity in the private paving world. Most of our customers only use us for their paving needs. Several customers have told me that Victor’s standards are actually higher than their own! He expects perfection!
